Temporary Email Policy

2. Email Requirements

Users are required to register with a valid, permanent email address. Temporary, disposable, or short-lived email services are not permitted for use on the Platform.

A permanent email address is defined as an email account that:

• remains accessible indefinitely
• is provided by an established email service or custom domain
• can reliably receive important notifications and communications
• enables account recovery and password reset functionality

3. Prohibited Email Services

Temporary or disposable email services are email addresses that automatically expire after a set period of time or are designed for one-time use.

Examples of prohibited services include, but are not limited to:

• 10minutemail and similar time-limited services
• Mailinator, Guerrillamail, TempMail, and equivalent disposable email platforms
• Throwaway or burner email addresses
• Any email service specifically marketed as temporary or disposable

This list is not exhaustive. Rapira reserves the right to determine whether an email service qualifies as temporary or disposable.

4. Acceptable Email Services

The following types of email addresses are acceptable for registration:

• established email providers such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, ProtonMail, Zoho, and AOL
• custom business or organizational domain emails (e.g., yourname@yourcompany.com)
• educational institution email addresses (e.g., .edu, .ac.in domains)
• regional or country-specific email services that provide permanent accounts

5. Reasons for This Policy

Rapira prohibits temporary email addresses to ensure the following:

Account Security and Recovery

Temporary email addresses expire after a set period, making it impossible to recover accounts if login credentials are forgotten. Users with expired email addresses cannot reset passwords or regain access to their accounts, tickets, purchases, or content.

Event and Transaction Notifications

Critical information regarding ticket purchases, booking confirmations, event updates, schedule changes, cancellations, and refunds are sent via email. If an email address expires, users will not receive these important notifications.

Platform Integrity

Temporary email addresses are frequently used to create fake accounts, evade restrictions, or engage in spam and fraudulent activities. Requiring permanent email addresses helps maintain a trustworthy community.

Artist and User Communication

Artists rely on email to communicate with their followers regarding concert announcements, updates, and special events. Temporary email addresses disrupt this essential communication channel.

6. Consequences of Using Temporary Emails

Users who attempt to register or have registered with temporary email addresses may face the following consequences:

• Registration may be rejected or require verification with an alternative email address
• Accounts associated with temporary email addresses may be flagged for review
• Access to certain platform features may be restricted until a permanent email is provided
• Accounts may be suspended or terminated if found to be using temporary email services
• No recovery or transfer of tickets, purchases, coins, or content will be possible if the associated email address has expired

Rapira shall not be responsible for any loss of access, content, purchases, or account data resulting from the use of temporary or disposable email addresses.

7. Updating Your Email Address

Users may update their email address at any time through their account settings. The new email address must be a permanent address as defined in this policy and will require verification.

If a user's email address is identified as temporary or disposable after registration, Rapira may request that the user update their email to a permanent address within a specified timeframe.

8. False Flagging and Appeals

If you believe your legitimate email address has been incorrectly identified as temporary or disposable, you may contact our support team with documentation verifying that your email service is permanent.

Rapira will review such appeals and may whitelist eligible domains or email addresses upon verification.

9. User Responsibility

It is the user's responsibility to:

• maintain access to the email address associated with their account
• ensure the email address remains active and capable of receiving messages
• update their email address if their current provider discontinues service
• regularly check their email for important communications from Rapira

Rapira is not responsible for communications that are not received due to email filtering, spam settings, expired accounts, or user error.

10. Policy Enforcement

Rapira reserves the right to verify email addresses and take appropriate action to enforce this policy. Enforcement measures may include account review, suspension, or termination, depending on the severity and circumstances of the violation.

Repeated attempts to circumvent this policy through the use of multiple temporary email addresses may result in permanent account termination and restriction from creating future accounts.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Email addresses collected during registration are used solely for account management, communication, and security purposes. Rapira does not sell or share user email addresses with third parties except as required by law or as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
